As part of a move to expand into new areas, Frontier Communication has begun to seperate into more specialised groups. The first part of this is the creation of the new InternetFCI group, dedicated to the companies Internet activities.

InternetFCI will now control the Internet affairs of Frontier Communications and takes control of all aspects of Internet, ranging from Dial-up accounts to International Circuit agreements and global Internet expansion. Customers using the InternetFCI services will remian under their existing domains, such as TheNet, although overall control will now be kept closer to that service area by the creation of the InternetFCI group.

Frontier Communications will shortly be announcing the launch of new specialist groups and InternetFCI has lead the way by becoming the first aspect of the company to gain greater autonomy for realising the goals of a world class Internet service.
